Jack waved to Echo as she left, and polished off the last bite of his sandwich. He reached into his lunch sack, and pulled out an orange. Sighing, he began to peel it. "Yuki's been on a health kick lately." he lamented. "Used to be cookies in m'lunch. Now I get fruit. Ah, well." He inhaled the sharp scent of citrus as the spray of orange juice wafted up through the air to reach his nose. "Not so bad, I guess." He put a piece of the orange in his mouth. "You say you're going to head over to check up on a visitor?" he asked. By visitor, of course, he was referring to some non-human occupant of the facility.
